We went to Sabah at June 2016 and rent a Proton Saga from the above company. I took the car at night and didn't realized I got a car with tires having no tread pattern. I found out the tires at the back of my car were having no tread pattern and the wires can be seen when one of the tire was punctured. We were trying to replace it with the spare tire, who knows the spare tire was same and wire can be seen. Ladies are not good in checking and examine car but I know that it didn't meet the basic standard of tire. I told them that we want to change car. Mr Azmi (people-incharge) didn't even apologize on that. They have let us waited for an hour before their staff arrived to the spot, just to replace the wire-seen-spare tire. They drove the car away after that (maybe ready for the next rental?) They rented car without putting their customer's safety. We ask for explanation and apology, Mr Azmi was blame me for didn't check the tires myself before I drove. I am glad that we are safe along the journey from Kundasang to Kota Kinabalu ( hill trail). I am worried if their attitude remains as this by rented out the car with low quality and out of standard to their customers. This is so differ to their vision ( to be the preferred and reliable tour operator for the international and also local tourists).
